A proud history

Our history dates back to the 1930's, along with our values and commitment to excellent service, professionalism and a commitment to 'walk the journey of business and life' with its clients. And we've done so, quietly. We have always been located in Auckland but provide services to clients nationwide and internationally.

In recent times, Haydn Ash stepped down as a partner, and Patrick Silveira joined Colin Powell to continue and develop the practice.

"Numbers really are my passion. I started with Battley & Johnson as an accounting clerk at the age of 18, rose through the ranks and am now Partner and co-owner of the firm.

"My experience is broad and deep and is across an extensive range of sectors and industries. I am also strong in trust administration and a trustee for a large number of our clients' trusts. When I'm not taking care of the 'must do work' for my clients I work closely with them on growth and succession strategies.
